The St. Therésè of Carmel Ministry to the Sick provides special care of the sick and homebound of the parish. Trained and experienced Eucharistic Ministers of Holy Communion make regular visits and by administration of the Eucharist and by genuine care and concern they extend the loving presence to the sick who are separated by illness or disability from the Parish community and the body of Christ.

Every Saturday afternoon at 3:30 pm a communion service for all Catholic residents is held in the health care facility within our parish boundaries. One Saturday a month the Pastor celebrates Mass and anoints the sick. Reconciliation is offered on request. /files/Ministry to the Sick/Finger in water.jpg

Regularly scheduled hospital visits with communion are made every Tuesday and Thursday to Scripps Green Hospital for all Catholic patients, parishioners and non-parishioners. Parishioners are visited in all hospitals by request by calling the Parish Office (858) 481-3232 if you or a family member desires a visit during a hospital stay.

For more information about Ministry to the Sick or to request a visit, please call the parish office at:  (858) 481-3232.
