Ministers of Hospitality

Greeting people is an opportunity to extend warmth and hospitality to all of our community. A friendly hello or a handshake can make all the difference in the world to one of our community members... and to us also

Ministers of Hospitality at St.Thérèse of Carmel are very often the first persons one meets upon arrival for services. They are men, women and teens who welcome and host week end Masses as well as Holy Days Masses. The Ministers of Hospitality welcome parishioners and help them feel comfortable in the worshipping environment. They open doors and welcome people as they arrive at church, ensure gift bearers are available, help seat people, pass the offering collection baskets and distribute bulletins at the end of the Mass. The women and men who serve in this ministry are representatives of a caring community. This is a great ministry in which family members can work together.
