Operation Ball Gown

The purpose of the Operation Ball Gown project is to collect new and
gently-used prom dresses, ball gowns, tuxedos and accessories (shoes, purses, shawls, etc.).

This project is held every year to provide formal dresses, shoes and accessories for the young spouses of active duty junior enlisted personnel (ranks of E-5 and below) so that they can attend the annual Navy and Marine Corps Birthday Balls held in October and November.

For some wives, getting a dress is the difference between going to the ball or staying home.

We also accept men's tuxedoes since not every spouse is female.  Gowns and tuxedoes are distributed at Camp Pendleton in late September.

Please support this worthwhile cause by continuing to collect new or "gently used" formal gowns and tuxedoes throughout the year.
