The San Diego Chinese Catholic Community (SDCCC) is a Chinese Catholic group based at the St. Thérèse of Carmel parish (formerly the St. William of York parish) in the San Diego Diocese. San Diego Bishop Robert Brom designated the pastor of St. Thérèse of Carmel to be the shepherd and spiritual guide for the SDCCC.

At 5:30 every Sunday afternoon, the SDCCC Mass is celebrated by Chinese-speaking priests or by local English-speaking priests. Mandarin, Cantonese, and English are used in the liturgy. Community members participate actively in the liturgy as music ministers, Eucharistic ministers, lectors, sacristans, and altar servers.

The SDCCC has grown from ten families in 1995 to more than eighty active families today. Currently the SDCCC has six Bible Study and Faith Sharing groups (Mustard Seeds), Legion of Mary, Faith Formation for Children and Youth, and RCIA. Many SDCCC members are registered parishioners of the St. Thérèse of Carmel parish, and they actively participate in parish activities such as in Mission, RCIA, and Eucharistic ministry.

SDCCC members often join other California Chinese Catholic groups for spiritual seminars, retreats, Marriage Encounter, Healing of Hearts prayer, catechetical work and evangelization activities.

“the bishops today are very clear about the fact that the Church's mission is not to Americanize but to evangelize.”

A quote from the website of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops

“Dear brothers and sisters: In a spirit of heartfelt pastoral concern for the Asian and Pacific people in our midst, we Catholic bishops of the United States write this statement to all Catholics and especially to our Asian and Pacific brothers and sisters to recognize and affirm with loving assurance their presence and prominence in the Lord's house. We pray that this pastoral statement will facilitate a fuller appreciation of their communities in our local churches and will encourage Asian and Pacific Catholics to take on active leadership roles in every level of church life.”
